My name is Rand, and I founded Bake it Forward alongside my brother, Hasan, as a way to give back to the communities that shaped us. We immigrated to the United States when we were four and five years old and grew up watching our parents work relentlessly to build a life for us here. Their perseverance, and the opportunities we were given, shaped both our values and our ambitions.
We both attend the University of Illinois Chicago, where we are pursuing careers in medicine. Service has always been central to our goals, and we wanted to create something tangible that allowed us to support others long before becoming physicians.
Bake it Forward is our way of doing that. Through thoughtfully made baked goods and partnerships with student organizations, schools, and community institutions, we raise funds while donating a portion of proceeds to support ill and underserved children. Every order, event, and collaboration is rooted in purpose and a commitment to paying forward the opportunities we were given
